Services

Core service areas

We solve complex technology and infrastructure problems — from enterprise networking and systems integration to solar power, battery storage, fuel cells, and the software that ties it together.

01

IT Infrastructure & Networking

Built on 30 years running dual data centers and a nationwide network across 15 offices. We design, deploy, and manage the systems a business depends on every day.

  • • Network design & systems administration
  • • Tier 1 & 2 ISP management, dedicated fiber, SLA oversight
  • • SD-WAN deployment, multi-WAN circuit analytics
  • • Linux, Windows, Active Directory, SAN, virtualization (XenServer/XCP)
  • • VoIP/PBX systems, business email infrastructure
  • • Security systems & UTM firewalls
  • • Emergency migration & business continuity planning

02

Custom Software Development

Two production systems built from scratch, self-hosted, and additive-only — nothing existing gets broken to add something new.

  • Mi Casa Centro — a Michael Thomas Consulting Group SaaS platform for property listings across Quintana Roo (for-sale, for-rent-by-owner & agency-listed). In pre-beta, launching 2026.
  • Estación Delish — Public-facing Delish Delish website linking out to the bakery's social media pages
  • Pasteleria Delish Delish — sales, inventory, vendor and price tracking, GPS delivery, and an AI-powered recipe costing & receipt-scanning system for a working bakery, installable as a PWA
  • • Web crawlers & data mining systems for customer and market research
  • • AI-assisted development workflows, self-hosted deployment

03

Smart Home, Automation & Power Backup Systems

Automation designed around how a property actually operates — not around whatever's easiest to bolt on.

  • • Lighting control
  • • Minisplit & AC units — Smart Indoor Climate Remote Control, homes to hotels
  • • Access control — smart locks & gate automation
  • • Networking & connectivity — Unifi, Netgear Pro, Asus, OpnSense
  • • Camera & surveillance systems — vetted for reliability: Microseven, EmpireTech, plus troubleshooting and support on existing systems, whatever brand you already have

About

Enterprise-grade judgment, applied to problems your size.

Thirty years of running networks, data centers, and emergency migrations for a 350-user company taught me one thing above all: systems fail in predictable ways, and most failures are avoidable if someone understands the whole picture before touching anything. That's the standard I bring to every client — whether the job is an enterprise network or a single home automation system.

I only take on work I believe in. If it involves a product or solution, I have to stand behind it personally before I'll recommend it to a client. Reputation matters more than revenue.

What the background gives you

Three decades of enterprise decisions, working in your favor.

None of this is theory. Every capability below comes from having actually done it, under real pressure, at a scale most consultants have only read about.

Enterprise

Infrastructure that holds when it matters

Sophos UTMs, Digium Sangoma VoIP, Synology, Supermicro, IBM X-series, Xen Hypervisors, 2N redundant power design, Remote access, Tier-1 Internet access, SD-WAN, Starlink, ELAN networks.

Residential & Business

Built for your needs

Total package design — understanding your goals and thinking to the future. Hybrid solar & battery backup, home office power solutions, alternative power generation, internet to user, site-to-site fiber & wireless, Starlink, security systems, networking, firewall, web content filters, energy savings solutions. No upsell for its own sake.

AI Projects

Build what doesn't exist yet

When I couldn't find the right tool, I built one — Real Estate data platform, Full POS Inventory costing system for a working bakery, Self-hosted AI-assisted development. If what you need doesn't exist yet, that's a conversation, not a dead end.

Lets meet

Listen, Discuss, Solutions

When I was 10, my father, an electrical engineer, taught me electrical AC wiring — not simple, but complex. He also taught me home repairs to gardening, car repairs to replacing tubes in old TVs. At 22, I graduated with an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Electronic Technology, an accelerated course, with a 4.0 GPA. Soon after, I was self-taught in Novell ELS networking and FoxPro database architecture — leading me to IT. During my 30 years in a corporate environment, that led me to become head of IT overseeing 350 users and 15 offices. Along the way, I helped redesign a 6,000 sq ft custom home from the ground up in Texas — walkout basement, spray foam insulation, radiant flooring, geothermal HVAC, water retention for irrigation, and a 6kW solar system, cutting monthly electric and water costs dramatically. Time to retire? Not yet — I enjoy helping people, not overselling them. I follow through and follow up — once it's yours, I don't walk away. That's what MTCG is built on.

Reputation over revenue

If it's broken, inefficient, or just not built yet — let's talk.

Whether it's a network that needs rebuilding, a power system that needs designing, or software that doesn't exist yet — describe the problem and we'll go from there.
